چکیده

We report measurements of the momentum dependence of the superconducting gap in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O81x with angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy using a dense sampling of the Brillouin zone in the vicinity of the Fermi surface. In the Y quadrant of the zone, where there are no complications from ghost bands caused by the superlattice, we find a gap function consistent within error bars to the form cos(kx)2cos(ky) expected for a d-wave order parameter. Similar results are found in the X quadrant with the photon polarization chosen to enhance main band emission over that due to ghost bands. @S0163-1829~96!52238-1#

Momentum dependence of the superconducting gap in NdFeAsO0.9F0.1 single crystals measured by angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy.

We use angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy to study the momentum dependence of the superconducting gap in NdFeAsO0.9F0.1 single crystals. We find that the Gamma hole pocket is fully gapped below the superconducting transition temperature. The value of the superconducting gap is 15+/-1.5 meV and its anisotropy around the hole pocket is smaller than 20% of this value-consistent with an isot...

Pii: S0022-3697(00)00119-0

We have performed a systematic doping-dependent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) of Pb-substituted Bi2201 (Bi1.80Pb0.38Sr2.01CuO62d) with high energy (7±11 meV) and momentum (0.01 AÊ ) resolutions. We found that all the samples show a large hole-like Fermi surface centered at (p,p), whose volume changes systematically as a function of doping. The superconducting gap exhibits a ...

Superconducting gap anisotropy in Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4: results from photoemission.

We have performed angle resolved photoelectron spectroscopy on the electron doped cuprate superconductor Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4. A comparison of the leading edge midpoints between the superconducting and normal states reveals a small, but finite shift of 1.5-2 meV near the ( pi,0) position, but no observable shift along the zone diagonal near ( pi/2, pi/2). This is interpreted as evidence for an anis...

Measurement of an enhanced superconducting phase and a pronounced anisotropy of the energy gap of a strained FeSe single layer in FeSe/Nb:SrTiO3/KTaO3 heterostructures using photoemission spectroscopy.

Single-layer FeSe films with an extremely expanded in-plane lattice constant of 3.99±0.02  Å are fabricated by epitaxially growing FeSe/Nb:SrTiO3/KTaO3 heterostructures and studied by in situ angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. Two elliptical electron pockets at the Brillouin zone corner are resolved with negligible hybridization between them, indicating that the symmetry of the low-ener...

Photoemission studies in MgB2

Photoemission spectroscopy measurements of MgB2 are reviewed. From angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, band dispersion is observed as is theoretically predicted, suggesting that the electronic structure of MgB2 is well described within band theory. From angle-integrated photoemission spectroscopy, a clear peak ascribed to the superconducting coherent peak is observed. The shape of the sp...
